Studies the process of policy formation and the tools and methods used to conduct policy analysis. The course examines a variety of policy areas of current interest (such as poverty, health, energy, the environment, urban affairs). Students prepare position papers, diagnosing policy problems and evaluating alternative solutions in terms of their political, economic, legal, and administrative feasibility.
