Campus Life
Do you like to sing, dance or play a musical instrument? Are you interested in learning about foreign cultures? Do you enjoy athletic competition, the great outdoors, debating policy initiatives or doing community service work?
Willamette has more than 100 student organizations to help you make the most of your college experience, but if you can't find one that supports your passion, it's easy to start your own — and find others who share your interest. Just ask the students who created Wulapalooza or revived the rugby team.
And Willamette students don't just join the club — they lead it. Governing bodies such as Associated Students of Willamette University give students a chance to play a major role in shaping campus life, while other organizations reach out to the Salem community and beyond.
If you're looking to make a difference, consider joining one of our many philanthropic programs — from our Greek organizations to Community Mentors (CMs) to the Community Service Learning program that connects students with service opportunities nationwide. There's a reason Willamette was one of just six universities in the nation honored for service — our students contribute more than 25,000 volunteer hours annually, reflecting the Willamette motto, "Not unto ourselves alone are we born."Enhance Your College Experience
