William A. Yasinski

Oversees Accounting, endowment management, Facilities, Human Resources, institutional budgeting, insurance programs, Payroll, Perkins Loans and Student Accounts.

W. Arnold Yasinski, vice president for financial affairs and treasurer, joined the University in July 2009. He was previously executive vice president for finance and administration at the Rhode Island School of Design, a position he held for four years. Prior to that he was chief business officer/chief financial officer for 15 years at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Before Colby, he worked for 10 years at the DuPont Company in Wilmington, Del. in a variety of finance, marketing and strategic planning positions. He holds a BA summa cum laude and a PhD in English from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., as well as an MBA in finance from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. He has served on several nonprofit boards in positions of responsibility, including chair of the board of Maine General Health, the third largest health system in Maine, chair of the Finance and Special Management Committees of Kents Hill School in Kents Hill Maine, member of the Strategic Oversight Committee of Care New England Health System, and member of the board of Women & Infants’ Hospital in Providence, R.I.
