Professor of the Year

Oregon Professors of the Year from Willamette University

Since 1990, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education have named ten Willamette University faculty members Oregon Professor of the Year.

The U.S. Professor of the Year program salutes the most outstanding undergraduate instructors in the country — those who excel in teaching and positively influence the lives and careers of their students.

Willamette professors contribute a wide range of expertise and create a dynamic and collaborative learning environment. They engage in scholarly research and publication, but they are also fundamentally committed to teaching and serving as mentors and advisors — preparing their students for success in both their professional and personal lives.
