Willamette University's Sustainability Council and ECOS held
our 2nd Campus Sustainability Day on Wednesday, October 26th,
2005. Many universities across the nation observe Sustainability
Day and we were pleased to bring the tradition to Willamette
and we look forward to our next Sustainability Day in 2006.
Last years events included the following:

Webcast
9:30 am
Location: in Autzen Conference Room, 3rd floor of the UC
The day begins with a live webcast titled "A (recycled,
of course) Six-Pack of Sustainability Lessons from the Past
Year in Higher Education." The webcast is hosted by NPR
science correspondent, Joe Palca, and will provide intelligent
synopses in a fast-paced, two-hour presentation of the very
latest initiatives and successes regarding sustainability in
higher education from five important conferences. Please stop
in as your schedule allows.
