A Student-Led Fund for Sustainability Projects at Willamette University

During the Spring 2014 semester undergraduate students voted in a campus-wide referendum to establish a new "Green Fund" (GF) fee. The GF provides new student leadership and funding for projects that engage students and employees to advance social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Proposals can be submitted by undergraduate students, staff, and faculty. We are looking for proposals that will advance social, economic and environmental sustainability at Willamette University and in our community, as well as create opportunities benefiting Willamette undergraduate students. Currently, mini-grant awards are available from $500-$2,000. Proposals will be reviewed twice a month by the committee

The annual Sustainability Grant is now accepting proposals. Grant money up to $20,000 will be awarded to sustainability projects. The last day proposals will be accepted is February 29th. The same guidelines for the mini-grants apply to the Sustainability Grant. The application for submitting proposals is the same application as for the mini-grants with the only difference being that up to $20,000 can be requested for a projects budget.
