Jenny believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to go to college, an opportunity, she thinks, is limited because many people can't afford college. Jenny is constantly exploring social issues that center around the inaccessibility of college. Brian is proud of his two last names, Blanco and Lila. One last name from his mother and one last name from his father, they are his role models. He’s motivated to continue his education because of his parents, “they tell me I have to go to college” Brian Blanco Lila loves math, or as he says, “My favorite classes are the ones I get to do math in.” He hopes to be a Mechanical Engineer at Oregon State or Harvard. Jose has engaged his interest in Biology and Orchestra by enrolling in IB courses that will help him achieve his future goal of helping both his family and others in an economic way. Willamette Academy reaches out to historically underrepresented communities by empowering youth who have the desire and potential to advance to higher education.
This academic program is designed to address a number of factors that may discourage certain students from attending college or otherwise impede their academic progress. We are committed to helping our students achieve at a level that will enable them to attend the four-year college or university of their choice.
The success of Willamette Academy depends upon a broad base of financial support which includes foundations, businesses, and individuals. This support allows us to provide and expand our services that help youth in our community obtain the dream of attending college.

La Academia de Willamette se enfoca en ayudar a comunidades poco representadas al apoyar a los jóvenes que tienen el deseo y motivación hacia una educación mayor. Este programa académico esta diseñado para intentar resolver muchos factores que podrían hasta cierto punto desanimar a ciertos estudiantes a continuar sus estudios u otros aspectos que los puedan desanimar a cumplir con sus metas. Nosotros nos comprometemos a ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a lograr sus metas en los niveles que ellos puedan alcanzar, con tal de que ellos puedan culminar con sus cuatro años en el universidad y con la carrera que ellos han escogido.
