Willamette Academy Students Tour Liberty House

On February 8th, several Willamette Academy students took a tour of Liberty House, which advocates for children who have been hurt by abuse or neglect, offering free services for them and their families. The experience gave students insight into the reality of child abuse and what agencies such as Liberty House can do to improve these children's circumstances. In addition to learning about the services provided by the organization, students were introduced to career options in the social service and non-profit sectors and learned about the type of education necessary to work in these fields.
