Willamette University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, an institutional accreditation body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and/or the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education. The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities is located at 8060 165th Avenue NE, Suite 100; Redmond, Washington 98052-3981.

Accreditation Evaluation Visit

Willamette University received an accreditation evaluation visit from a team of evaluators on April 4-6, 2011.  The evaluation team was lead by Dr. Jonathan N. Lawson, Chair and Professor, Graduate Department of Educational Leadership, Instructional Design & English, Idaho State University. Other committee members included:
