Residence and Meal Plans

One of the best things about college is living on campus, and Willamette is a great place to call home for four years. As a student at Willamette, you’ll be able to choose from among 21 different residential communities. All of them are located within a few minutes of your classes, and together they provide the foundation for our residential campus.

Residency Requirement

All freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus unless they are married, over 21 or living with parent(s) within a commutable distance of 25 miles or less. Most of our students choose to live on campus until they graduate, adding a sense of continuity and tradition to the Willamette community.

Residential Communities

Within our campus community, theme housing gives students a chance to interact with faculty and friends who share common interests. Willamette’s theme programs include substance-free living (Baxter and Shepard), a celebration of international culture (Willamette International Studies House), outdoor adventure and community service (Terra House). Willamette also offers a Greek community made up of three national sororities and four national fraternities. Here’s a complete list of Willamette’s residential communities:
