About your Visit Coordinator

Favorite Things About Willamette:

I chose to make higher education my career because I loved everything about my experience at Willamette – I never wanted to leave!  I also can't say enough about the people that I shared my collegiate experience with – I made incredible, life-long friendships with people that I truly love and admire.  They are all doing great things with their lives and are successful in so many important ways; I count myself very fortunate to be in their company.

Favorite Subject:

I studied English at Willamette because I simply love to read and talk about books.  My senior project on Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury was a highlight of my time here.  I also minored in religious studies and would count Doug McGaughey's "Religion and Science" class among the top few intellectual experiences of my life.

Favorite Summer Activity:

I love to spend time at our family beach house in Neskowin, Oregon.  It's such a tiny town that our whole focus is the beach and one another.  There's no shopping, no cable, and our phones don't get a signal – it's very relaxing and great for our kids.

Coke or Pepsi:

Coke, hands down.  Pepsi isn't worth the calories!
