ALUMNI: Connecting the Willamette MBA and University Communities

As an Atkinson graduate, you have access to a variety of resources. These include:

* viewing and searching the alumni directory through the Compass
* seeking a job or career change with the help of Career Services
* or even referring potential candidates to Willamette's MBA programs.

Events are organized around the region specifically for MBA alumni, such as First Thursday events in Portland and the annual Brownwater Regatta. In addition, there are a number of events open to all Willamette alumni as well as several offerings around the world coinciding with admission/recruitment and career management visits.

There are many more opportunities to help you stay connected with your fellow alumni, Atkinson and Willamette. Watch ATKINSONews and the Alumni Events page for the most up-to-date information.

GIVING: ATKINSON ANNUAL FUND and DEAN'S INITIATIVE FUND

With a tradition of providing a top quality management education to its students, AGSM relies strongly on the committed support of alumni and friends to maintain this quality, and meet the demand of ever increasing costs. Tuition dollars supply only 65% of Atkinson's annual budget. The Atkinson Fund and Dean's Initiative Fund, along with endowment earnings, bridges the gap by providing much needed operating revenue. It not only serves as a very important financial vehicle for the School of Management, but also gives all alumni an opportunity to become involved in Atkinson’s future and success. The Dean's Initiative Fund and Atkinson Annual Fund supports such things as technology upgrades, faculty recruitment and retention, student academic activities, visiting executives, 'real-world' student-business projects and much more.

Gifts to this fund have supported:

  • Student participation in collegiate case competitions across the nation
  • Travel abroad opportunities in growing markets such as Dubai
  • Expanded recruitment and admissions programs
  • Technology for a ‘smart classroom’ renovation
