Portland Center Rental Information

Thank you for your interest in reting the Willamette University Portland Center. Located in the Pearl District, the Portland Center has two Classrooms equipped with full audio/visual capabilities and a Conference Room perfect for meetings.

This page provides detailed information on room rates, specifications, catering and availability.  Please contact our staff if you have any additional questions.  Reservations are required 48 hours in advance. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rooms are available between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday.

If you are from a Willamette University department reserving the Portland Center for non-revenue generating activities, there is no charge to use the Portland Center. Please be sure to indicate your affiliation on the facility rental form.

PORTLAND CENTER ONLINE RESERVATION FORM

Facility Rental Rates

  • Reservations are required 48 hours in advance. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Classrooms are available between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday
  • An additional $40 per hour fee will be added to weekday morning hours before 7:00am, weekdays after 5:00pm and all day on weekends
  • Rental fees listed on this webpage are for estimation purposes only. The reservation contract will detail the total cost of an event reservation

Connor Lecture Hall
(up to 32 capacity)

  • Corporate rate $90/hour (1-4 hours) or $575 full day (4 + hours)
  • Non profit rate: $50/hour (1-4 hours) or $300 full day (4 + hours)

Hoyt Classroom
(up to 24 capacity)

  • Corporate rate: $90/hour (1-4 hours) or $575 full day (4 + hours)
  • Non profit rate: $50/hour (1-4 hours) or $300 full day (4 + hours)
  • Classroom rates includes use of AV equipment including projector, DVD and Video player, full audio, wireless Internet, white board and markers
  • Seating arrangements and room configurations outside of the standard classroom U-shape are available.
  • Room configuration changes are assessed a one time $100 set up fee per day.
  • Please advise us when setup requires a specific room configuration that requires moving the tables and chairs from the standard U-shape

Conference Room

  • Corporate rate $50/hour (1-4 hours) or $300 full day (4 + hours)
  • Non profit rate: $30/hour (1-4 hours) or $180 full day (4 + hours)
Conference Room price includes use of white board and markers.

Equipment

  • Classroom fixed audio/visual system
  • Classroom fixed whiteboard
  • Classroom moveable whiteboard (2)
  • Portable document camera (1)
  • Portable projector (1)
  • Whiteboard / Flip-Chart tripod (4)
The Portland Center Staff can assist with simple and generally known software and hardware technical questions. If you require a software/hardware technician to be on hand during your event, contact Portland Center Staff to prearrange for onsite day of assistance.

Beverage Service

$3/person (1-4 hours); $5/person (4 + hours)
  • Beverages include various softdrinks, hot and cold bottled water and single cup coffee.  Larger beverage orders (especially coffee) should be placed with Whole Foods Market (see below).
