Speaker:
Michael Dothan is the Guy F. Atkinson Professor of Economics and Finance at the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University. He teaches courses in investments, finance and strategy, and financial derivatives. Michael's teaching awards include United Methodist Exemplary Teacher Award (2001) and Exellence in Teaching Award (2007).

Michael's research has appeared in the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Business, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Financial Research, and other journals. His most recent research is in the areas of corporate finance, financial markets, public finance, and business valuation.
