Incoming Student Facebook Page

As you know, social networking has great benefits for networking and getting to know people. If you have not joined our Facebook page, it is time to get to know your incoming classmates!

It is important to remember to use your Facebook profile as part of your MBA portfolio. Always put your best self forward (in words and pictures) and represent yourself professionally to your friends, colleagues and the world. It is important to know that potential employers for internships and career positions regularly check Facebook profiles when evaluating candidates and many have made decisions not to hire someone because of what they saw on the person's Facebook profile.

To join, follow the steps listed under #1 if you already have a Facebook profile. If you don't have a Facebook profile yet, just follow the steps under #2.

#1. Go to http://www.facebook.com/wall.php?id=6502142777#/group.php?gid=45420587350
* Click on View Group (on the right).
* Click on Request to Join Group (on the right just below the Willamette MBA logo)
* Your request will come to me and I will say yes!

#2.If you do not have a Facebook profile yet:
* Go to http://www.facebook.com and start a profile.

* Then, go to http://www.facebook.com/wall.php?id=6502142777#/group.php?gid=45420587350
* Click on View Group (on the right).
* Click on Request to Join Group (on the right just below the Willamette MBA logo)
* Your request will come to me and I will say yes!
