Students Who Need Two Required CLA Courses

The page shows the curricular path for BA/MBA students who began the MBA program needing to complete two required CLA courses during the first year of the MBA program.  In general, this BA/MBA student will complete one of their CLA courses during fall semester of the first year of MBA study and one of their CLA courses during spring semester of the first year of the MBA program. Postponing two MBA courses to the second year of the program means the student will be taking one semester of 18 credits and one semester of 15 credits during the second year of study. An 18 credit course load during one semester of the second year is a very doable class load.  In fact, second-year students often choose to take an 18 credit load during one semester of the second year of the MBA program.
