Understanding and Expanding Performance and Well Being in Organizations and Communities

With the increasing uncertainty that today’s organizations are facing, understanding how accomplishment and sustainable performance occurs is more important than ever. Sadly, those that have the greatest impact in organizational decision making often don’t understand how work really gets done inside their own institutions, resulting in policy and procedures that work against optimal results.

Increasingly performance seems to be measured only in terms of cost efficiency with little attention paid to the potential and capacity of the human social system. In addition, many people working in today’s institutions and organizations experience an environment that is less and less conducive to human creativity and contribution. There is a growing awareness among organizational leaders and practitioners alike that this is not a sustainable model and will continue to erode social and economic wellbeing lowering overall competitiveness.

This 4 day practitioner training and certification program is designed in a retreat format, held at the Rex Ranch Conference Center outside of Tucson, AZ. This extraordinary gathering will be an opportunity for participants to:

  • Reflect and dialogue about research and recent learning in the area of knowledge creating social networks
  • Learn about the pattern, practice, and nature of high performing social systems

Program Presenters:

Anne Murray Allen - Director, Executive Development Center, Willamette University
Dennis Sandow - President, Reflexus Company
Nick Zeniuk - Consultant, Adjunct Faculty Member at Arizona State University and Visiting Faculty Member at Jinan University, China
