Career Network
The Willamette University Alumni Career Network can help you:
- search for jobs
- navigate a career transition
- find your first job
- build your network
- hire great people to join your organization
A cornerstone of Career Network services is the Career Advisor program, where alumni pair up with current/graduating students to share experiences, offer insights and provide a comforting professional connection. If you would like to sign up to be a Career Advisor, or are interested in more information about the program, read our Career Advisor FAQ. To get started, either login to The Compass and fill out your Career Advisor profile under the Career Network, or fill out this form and fax or email it to Stacey Lane.
If you'd like to sign up to receive special notices about upcoming events, tips on conducting your job search, or useful career resources to check out, send an email to careernetwork@willamette.edu and we'll put you on the mailing list.
Also, remember that specially-designed career resources also exist for the Atkinson School of Management and the College of Law.
We wish you the best and are happy to help you along your career path however we can. Don't forget to join the Willamette Alumni LinkedIn group!
2012 Outreach Volunteers
For the past four years we've recruited more than 50 alumni annually to call the College of Liberal Arts graduates right after they graduate. Volunteers are matched to 10 new grads based on geography and major. These generous volunteers check in with the most recent graduates to make sure they are aware of the support offered to them through the Career Network (and alumni association, too). Given the state of the job market, we feel it is important for the new graduates to know we're invested in their post-graduation career success. Career decisions are tough and alumni can provide such inspiration as our newest alumni transition from college to career.
A resounding "thank you!" to our alumni volunteers:
