History major. After graduating, Sara worked in the athletics department at Willamette while planning on a career in law. She skipped law school to earn her master's degree in sports administration and leadership at Seattle University in 2009 and is now at Oregon State as the executive assistant to the athletic director.
Sara assists with the organization of OSU's "Beavers Without Borders" program. The group aims to provide a platform for current and former student-athletes to experience the world outside of Corvallis and the United States. The last trip took a group of 15 to Guatemala, where they worked to build a house for a family of nine in just six days. Sara hopes to visit all 50 states before age 30 and hits up as many presidential libraries as she can (putting her history degree to use!).
