Take a Break (TaB) firms up spring trips, opens with yard work fundraiser
The Take a Break program, a permanent fixture at Willamette's Office of Community Service Learning, has laid out next year's service trip locations: Chicago, Phoenix, Seattle and several spots in the Willamette valley.
The program is now launching the outreach and fundraising processes; they're beginning by helping local alumni and friends get a little yard work done.
TaB is offering to send teams of roughly five people to local homes to perform tasks of the owners' choosing. Tasks may include raking leaves, washing windows, pruning, weeding, hanging up holiday lights, etc.
Saturday, Nov. 20 and Sunday Nov. 21
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
