Second Annual Sustainable Enterprise Certificate Begins in February 2010

Last month the Aspen Institute recognized the Atkinson Graduate School as a top program globally for corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship.  Once again, the Sustainable Enterprise Certificate program will utilize world-renown speakers in social and environmental well-being to support the School’s commitment to sustainable education.

The program includes three, two-and-a-half day sessions (one in February, March and April, with webinars in between).  Speakers include Polar explorer Robert Swan, Mary Hansel of the Biomimicry Institute and Norm Miller of the Climate Science Department at the Berkeley National Laboratory.

Certificate in Business Lawyering – Presented by the Atkinson Graduate School of Management and Willamette University College of Law

Willamette University's Certificate in Business Lawyering (CBL) is a unique program designed to help attorneys speak the language of business.  The program's eight, day-long sessions - taken selectively or together as a Certificate  - explore the fundamental knowledge of business and management in a collaborative, interactive environment.  The program is delivered face-to-face at the Willamette University Portland Center to facilitate discussion and encourage networking between attorneys from law firms and in-house council.
