The Office of Parent Relations has joined the Facebook generation! Now you can follow news about campus and Parent Relations from your Facebook page.
Our Facebook page gives you another way to communicate with Parents Relations as well as Willamette parents. Parent Relations will post parent-relevant news about campus, the semester schedule and events. And, the page will be a great place for you to start discussions about Willamette-specific topics and get feedback from other parents.
You can connect right now at the Willamette University Parents Facebook page. When you’re there, click the “Like” button so you can get our posts on your Facebook page. Or, you can search for “Willamette University Parents” the next time you’re on Facebook.
For parents who currently subscribe to the Parents Listserv, we will continue to host that group. The Listserv is an email network of Willamette parents; parents registered on the Listserv receive email questions and answers from other Willamette parents. For more information see the Parents Listserv.
Parent Relations is happily partnering with the Office of Alumni Relations to offer a special event for parents in the Seattle area Tuesday night, March 1. The event will offer insights from Stacey Lane, director of the alumni career network, as well as a panel of recent Willamette alumni - if you're a parent, this will be a great way to explore how you can help your son or daughter get running on their own two feet in today's job market.
