Careers, professional sports, kayaking ... time for summer planning
There are many alumni events going on this summer -- several traditional and some new -- so get out the calendar and pick the ones you'd like to attend!
The Brownwater tradition includes three days of fun events and social activities that cap the end of the semester at the Atkinson Graduate School of Management.
- Friday, May 4: Golf Tournament (10 a.m.) and Casino Night (6:30 p.m.)
- Saturday, May 5: Choate Run at Bush Park (9 a.m.), Soccer game (10:30 a.m.), BBQ and Mill Stream float (noon)
The weekend events are the longest-lasting Brownwater traditions, and the float down the mighty Mill Stream (for the adventurous types) is at least worth watching, if not joining.
These events, as always, are planned and organized by Willamette MBA student representatives. For more information, to order Brownwater T-shirts, and to RSVP, visit the Brownwater web page.
For questions, contact Jennifer Arruda at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Get ready for three days of summer kayaking and camping in the San Juan Islands, courtesy of the Travel Program.
The "explorer expedition" is fully catered and supplied, so interested alumni need only to sign up and bring some sunscreen. This trip will be conducted in small groups of eight kayakers (one professional guide/cook for each eight people who sign up) up to a maximum of 24 total. No sea kayaking experience is required.
There are other Travel Program offerings on the way, too, including 2013 trips to the Black Sea and Turkey. Visit the travel website to learn more!
