Associate Professor Warren Binford reflects on Mandela's impact on children's rights
As a 2012-2013 Fulbright Scholar who spent six months in South Africa lecturing and researching children's issues and the advancement of children's rights in Africa, Associate Professor Warren Binford witnessed first-hand the impact of Nelson Mandela. She reflects on his effect on children's rights and on her own career in an editorial in the Salem Statesman Journal.
Professor Green addresses SCOTUS Establishment case
Professor Steve Green was interviewed for a Statesman Journal article on the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court case that will look at mandated health insurance coverage for contraceptives and whether for-profits are the same as churches when considering exemptions to this mandate.
