There are various types of advertising options in conjunction with the Willamette University athletic department, including print advertising, signage, website links, radio, game day sponsorships, and many more. Our sponsorship opportunities and packages are listed below. You can choose a current package or create your own. Contact marketing coordinator, Megan Fitzsimmons, for further information.

Media Guides

Willamette University media guides are annual publications promoting the programs and student-athletes within the Bearcat athletics department. These publications are distributed among Bearcat fans, faculty, staff, students, media, and our Bearcat Club donors. They range from 21-37 pages and highlight the outstanding student-athletes and coaches at Willamette University. Advertising rates are affordable and help businesses promote themselves as well as support Bearcat athletics.

Game Day Programs

The Willamette University Office of Sports Information produces game programs for all home events including: football, volleyball, cross country, soccer, tennis, swimming, basketball, baseball, softball, and track & field. These programs contain ream rosters, action photos, and current statistics for both the Bearcats and that day’s opponent. Advertising is available in these programs.

Other Opportunities

Pocket schedule card sponsorship, schedule magnet sponsorship, and ticket back advertisement.

Web Advertisement

Internet ads are available for supporting businesses. Space for logos and links are made available all year long. The ads are featured on our business partner page and some opportunities are available on our homepage as well. Each year, around 94,000 fans click on the Willamette University athletics website. Website opportunities include: logo and link, homepage banner, athlete of the month sponsorship, webcast sponsorship and more.

Signage

McCulloch Stadium

Every home football game and track & field meet is held in McCulloch Stadium. Signage is available on our new 24’ X 25’ scoreboard with video display capabilities. There are a variety of different sized ad spaces available to fit your budget. Sizes include: 4’ X 6’, 4’ X 24’, and 8’ X 6’. Scoreboard signage sponsorships require a three year commitment.
The new scoreboard boasts a 8’ X 12’ video display which is available for ad space during all home events.
Beyond scoreboard and video display signage is our logo banner opportunities. There are multiple locations for your banner to be displayed at McCulloch stadium for Bearcat fans to enjoy.

Other Facilities

There are also scoreboard signage and banner opportunities at our other facilities: Lestle J. Sparks Center, Cone Field House, Roy S. “Spec” Keene Stadium, Sparks Field, Sparks Tennis Courts, and Willamette Field.

Events

Game Day Featured Sponsorship

Gain invaluable exposure as the exclusive sponsor of any home game. You will be recognized as the featured sponsor by radio broadcast, PA announcements, in-game promotions, in game day programs, and with a special halftime presentation.

Governor’s Cup Regatta

Multiple opportunities are available to sponsor the crew Governor’s Cup Regatta. The Regatta is scheduled for April 7th of this year and will be held at Riverfront Park in Salem, OR. Breakfast sponsorships, start and finish line sponsorships, and tent advertisements are available.

Capitol Cup Softball Tournament

The Capitol Cup Softball Tournament brings the top teams from the Northwest together for a three day tournament. This event offers plenty of opportunities to advertise your product to the fans, families, and student-athletes of both Willamette University and visiting teams. Banners, scoreboard signage, programs, and game day advertisements are available.
