Our Mission, Purpose and Goals
The Bearcat Athletic Fund supports Willamette University’s 20 NCAA Division III varsity programs. Any gift to any athletics fund qualifies as a Bearcat Athletics donation. Gifts to the Bearcat Athletic Fund provide annual support to supplement team operating budgets. The Department of Athletics strives to provide additional resources for Willamette Athletics programs through the Bearcat Athletic Fund to ensure all student-athletes receive quality athletic experiences. Can I Support A Specific Program?
Yes! While we urge gifts to the Bearcat Athletic Fund, you may designate gifts to a team or program and your support will send the message that your particular sport is vital to the Willamette experience.
Where Does the Money Go?
All gifts to Athletics are used to support our teams and programs. A portion of unrestricted funds are used to pay for expenses associated with Bearcat Athletics operations (i.e., printing, mailing costs).
Champions Circle
Our fundraising efforts depend upon the strong leadership of Champions Circle members. These annual donors commit at least $1,000 to help support our programs.
