Andrus averaged 11.3 points per game while playing in just 15.1 minutes per contest. He started in Willamette’s upset of 13th-ranked the University of Puget Sound on Jan. 26 and provided support off the bench in all of the Bearcats’ other games during the month. Andrus consistently provided an offensive lift when he entered each game and scored in double figures in seven of the eight contests, as the Bearcats went 5-3. He shot 63.4% from the field (26 of 41), including 57.1% on 3-pointers (8 of 14). He also converted 30 of 37 free throws (81.1%), helping Willamette shoot 76.1% at the line as a team. His top scoring effort of the month was against Pacific Lutheran University on Jan. 27, when he scored 15 points and hit every shot he took (4 for 4 FG, 6 for 6 FT). For the season, Andrus has averaged 8.9 points per game, while connecting on 51.0% of his field goal attempts.

Fischer took first place in two events and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team at the Linfield College-Mills College triangular meet. She also won two events against Lewis & Clark College. Against Pacific Lutheran University, she won one event and swam on the victorious 200-yard medley relay team. She won at least one event in all five meets during the month. She recorded her top time of the year in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:36.19) against Pacific University on Jan. 27. Her efforts helped Willamette pick up wins over Mills and Pacific. Fischer ranks in the Top 12 in the NWC in six events, including second in the 50-yard breaststroke (33.67 seconds) and fourth in both the 100-yard individual medley (1:03.57) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.24). She is fifth in the NWC in the 200-yard breaststroke.
