Department Information & Overview

Willamette Bearcats Willamette is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, and the Northwest Conference. Conference members include: George Fox University, Lewis & Clark College, Linfield College, Pacific University, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College and Whitworth University.

Division III is a non-scholarship affiliation with the NCAA. Over 425 institutions are a member of Division III, which maintains a philosophy that the student-athlete's experience is of primary concern.
