Jensen named NWC Pitcher of the Week

Jeff Jensen, a sophomore from North Salem High School, was named Northwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in baseball on Monday.

Jensen pitched a complete-game, two-hit shutout at Pacific Lutheran on Saturday. He struck out nine Lute batters and walked just one.

Jensen, who is 2-3 on the season, lowered his earned-run average from 3.93 to 3.38. He has struck out 68 batters in 64 innings this spring.
