Women's Varsity 8s tied for 18th in the nation

Willamette's women's Varsity 8 boats are tied for the rank of 18th in NCAA Division III, according to a poll released by US Rowing on Thursday.

Williams College leads the latest poll, which also ranks University of Puget Sound tied for 10th and Pacific Lutheran University 13th.

The highest-ranked Varsity 8s on the West Coast at the end of the regular season will qualify for the Division III national championships May 30-June 1 in Indianapolis, Ind.
