Rowing Informational Meeting Set for September 10 No experience necessary

Aug. 28, 2003
The Willamette University Rowing Program will hold a one-hour informational meeting beginning at 5:00 p.m. On September 10th in the Curry Classroom at the Sparks Center for those men & women interested in turning out for the 2003-04 team.

No previous experience in rowing is required. In fact, the program, which is entering its eleventh year as a men’s & women's varsity sport at Willamette, relies heavily on recruiting student-athletes who have never rowed before.

The team is coached by Rodney Mott, a 1988 graduate of Washington State. The novice program is assisted by Aina Williams-Oyewole, a four year letter winner for Trinity College (Hartford CT.), she comes via Wesleyan and Rutgers rowing programs.

Swim/Float test will be held September 12th taking place from 4-5 p.m. The swim/float test on September 12th will be held at Sparks pool. If you are unable to attend the informational meeting, you can still stop by for information during one of these days.
