Bearcat Men Go To 3-0 in NWC With 3-2 Win Over George Fox

Newberg: Adam Moshofsky scored off an assist from Ricardo Sanchez late in the second half as the Willamette University men’s soccer team won its third straight Northwest Conference game Sunday, 3-2.

After falling behind by two on a pair of early goals by Michael Chapman, the Bearcats (4-2-2, 3-0) rallied late in the half.

Sanchez started the comeback when he scored at the 40-minute mark off an assist from Ben DeSanno.

DeSanno tied the game just two minutes later when he scored off an assist from Matt Lehman.

The win capped a perfect start to the Beacats NWC season. Earlier in the week, the Bearcats knocked off No. 6 Linfield, then followed that up with a victory at Pacific on Saturday.

The Bearcats are back at home this weekend, hosting UPS on Saturday and Pacific Lutheran on Sunday. both games begin at 2:30 pm at sparks Field.
