Willamette Volleyball Falls to PLU in Three Games

TACOMA — The Willamette Bearcats were defeated on Friday by the 19th ranked Pacific Lutheran University volleyball team in three games in a Northwest Conference match last night at Olson Auditorium, 26-30, 18-30, 20-30.

Willamette drops to 8-3, 1-1 while the Lutes improve to 9-2, 1-0.

The visiting Bearcats gave PLU all they could handle in the first game. The Lutes ralled from behind late in the game to pull out the 30-26 win. PLU kept the momentum the rest of the match en route to the win.

WU travels to Whitman on September 26th and then to Whitworth on September 27th.
