Men's Golf Holds Off Competitors
Salem - Willamette continued it's winning ways in the third installment of the NWC Southern Division 4-Way Tournament played October 6th at Illahe Hills CC in Salem.
Willamette was led by juniors Rio Kuteira, Kris Hunt, and Cord
Jonson with scores of 75, 75, and 76. Teamwise
Willamette shot a 306, 12 shots better than second-place
Linfield.
After three rounds Willamette leads the medal score competition over Linfield 918 to 956. Pacific and Lewis & Clark trail.
Willamette also leads in the points competition, again over Linfield, 263 to 190. Pacific is at 130 and Lewis & Clark trails at 47.
Next action is the fourth and final round of this tournament to be played October 9 at Stone Creek GC in Clackamas, OR.
