Bearcats Fall to Pomona Ptizer, 68-55; Play for Third Place Tonight at Redlands

Miles Sandgathe scored 15 points and Josh Erickson added 11 points and four rebounds, but the Willamette University men's basketball team fell to Pomona-Pitzer Friday night, 68-55, in the Lee Fulmer Tournament in Redlands.

The Bearcats took a 33-29 lead at halftime, but Pomona came back for the win behind 23 points and ten rebounds from Edward Norman-Terrance.

The Bearcats play Saturday evening in the third place game after winning Thursday night in the tournament opener, 106-100 in overtime against Cal State Hayward.

In Friday's game, PJ McDevitt and Harold Sublett Jr. each scored nine points for the Bearcats.
