Bearcat Women Fall at Pacific, 79-60

FOREST GROVE: DeeDee Arnall scored 29 points and Tori Nelson had 25 as the Pacfic University Boxers took a 15-point halftime lead and cruised to a 79-60 Northwest Conference win against the Willamette University women’s basketball team Friday night.

Simmie Muth scored 18 points to lead the Bearcats. Megan Scheelar scored ten points as the Bearcats fell to 4-12 on the season, 0-6 in the NWC.

Deanne Lund had seven boards to pace the Bearcats. Brianne King added eight points off the bench for Willamette.

Willamette outshot the Boxers, 45% to 41%. But Pacific won the battle of the boards 47-31 and had only ten turnovers to 17 for the Bearcats.
