Becky Roberts Coach of the Year

Yakima, Wash. - The Bearcat women were able to leave the Northwest Conference coming in 3rd after being seeded 5th (3-8 NWC, 4-10 overall) in the Northwest Conference Chamipionships and with 3 significant additional honors. Two players were chosen for All NWC-Team and Head Coach, Becky Roberts, was named Coach of the Year.

Susan Butler was chosen ans First All NWC-Team and Cortney Groves was 2nd All NWC-Team. Susan (Freshman from Boise, ID) also received First All NWC-Team honors this fall as a starter on the soccer team.

Cortney Groves (Senior from Los Altos, Calif.) received Second All NWC-Team honors.

This is Becky Roberts' (in her fourth year at Willamette) first time receiving the honor of Coach of the Year.
