NEWBERG, Ore. - Needing a win over Willamette University to stay a step ahead of the Bearcats in the Northwest Conference men's tennis standings, the George Fox University Bruins instead fell a game behind the Bearcats and into 9th place with a 5-2 loss.

Willamette is 1-6 overall and in league play while George Fox is 1-8 overall and in the conference.
