Willamette defeats Pacific Lutheran, 7-5

Salem - Willamette avenged its two losses suffered yesterday against Pacific Lutheran with a win in their single game today, 7-5.

PLU got on the board in second inning, scoring a run off of a wild pitch. They scored twice in the 4th inning bringing the score to 3-0, PLU.

Willamette answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th off of Bartels home run with Johnson on second to bring the score to 3-2.
Pacific Lutheran came back and scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th and lifted the Lutes to 5-2.

Willamette rallied in the bottom of the ninth, scoring 5 runs and bringing the Bearcats up 7-5.
