Bearcats Take Out Seton Hill in Five

GETTYSBURG, PA — Lauren Thompson had 22 kills, Roni Schneider had 17 digs and Jessica Drumm had 32 assists as the Willamette University volleyball team took a five-game match from Seton Hill in the bearcats second match at the Battlefield Classic volleyball tournament.

With the win, the Bearcats raise their season record to 5-1 and advance as the winners of Pool B in the tourney. The Bearcats finish the tournament tomorrow with at least two more matches.

After winning the first game against Seton hill, 30-25, the Bearcats dropped the next two, 31-33 and 25-30. The Bearcats came back to win the final two games, 30-26 and 15-12.

Kristen Halleck had 19 kills and 16 assists for the Bearcats. Angie Sammons added 20 kills and Jodi Zaffino had 25 assists.
