Hindman Scores Two as Bearcats Win 2-0 in Pennsylvania
Gettysburg, PA — Brenna Hindman scored two goals as the Willamette University women’s soccer team took a 2-0 victory over John Carroll University in the first game at the Gettysburg Tournament. The Bearcats play the host of the tournament, Gettysburg College, Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Hindman scored her first goal of the season at the 13:40 mark to put the Bearcats on top 1-0. Kara Forsyth has the assist as Hindman slipped behind the John Carroll defense to score on a breakaway.
Hindman tallied again at the 68-minute mark as the Bearcats raised their season record to 2-0. Laura Uhlmansiek recorded her fourth assist of the year on the play.
Kari Woody saw her first action of the season for the Bearcats in goal and recorded two saves in the win. Willamette out-shot John Carroll 16-3.
