Bearcats Maintain Lead After Second Round of Tournament

Salem, OR-Willamette University men’s golf team finished first for the second round of the South Fourway Golf Tournament. For the second straight week, Rio Kuteira shot the low score of 74.

Willamette shot their way to a 12-shot lead over Pacific University and 27-shot lead over Linfield College. Also competing was Lewis & Clark College, who had too few members to be ranked in the team totals.

Martin Kraal shot 77 for the Bearcats. Cord Johnson and Paul Crisalli both shot 82.

The tournament will continue its third round on October 7th at the Quail Valley Golf Course, and will play the final round at the Michelbrook Country Club on October 19th.
