Kuteira, Kraal Shoot Par To Lead Bearcat Golfers to Round Three Win

BANKS, OR — Rio Kuteira and Martin Krall both posed even par scores of 72 as the Willamette University men’s golf team won the third round of the Northwest Conference Southern Division Fourway tournament.

The four round tournament is played over several weeks at different courses around the state. Willamette also won the first two rounds.

Kuteira and Kraal tied with Linfield’s Taylor Boyd for the low round of the day. Damian Wolfgram was one stroke behind at 73 and Kris Hunt shot 75 for a combined team score of 292, four over par.

Linfield finished six shots behind at 298. Pacific (311) and Lewis & Clark (337) rounded out the field.

The final round of the unique meet will be played Oct. 19 at Michelbrook Country Club.

Prior to that final round, the Bearcats travel to Spokane to play in the Whitworth Invitational this weekend at the Spokane Country Club.
