Men's Basketball Fall Short To Pomona-Pitzer
The Willamette men’s basketball team fell short in their game against Pomona-Pitzer Saturday night, 77-72. The Bearcats drop their overall record to 2-2. The Sagehens raise their record 4-2 overall.
Senior John Olinger led the Bearcats with 22 points while junior CJ Stuvland added 15. Freshman Ian Mansfield grabbed 6 rebounds.
For the Sagehens, David Knowles counted 22 points. Teammates Alexander Lloyd counted 17 points and Chaz Turner had 16. Colin Fahey and Lloyd combined for a total of 13 rebounds.
The Bearcats return home for the John Lewis Classic Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4.
