Men's Basketball Pick Up First Win of the Season

CALDWELL, Idaho- The Willamette University men’s basketball team ended the Duane Wolfe Memorial Golden Rule Shoot-Out with a victory over Concordia College 83-55.

The Bearcats improved their overall record 1-1, dropping Concordia 2-2.

CJ Stuvland, led Willamette with 25 points, with John Olinger sinking 13. Harold Sublett Jr. grabbed nine rebounds, as teammates Todd Lewis and Brennan Garrelts totaled in seven each.

For Concordia, Brandon Erlandson counted 18 buckets. Alex Hartman had 11.

The Bearcats will travel this week to California to play the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pomona-Pitzer, November 26 and 27.
