Senior defensive end, Nate Matlock was named to the CoSIDA 1st Team Academic All-American football team this week.

Matlock, 2003 Defensive Player of the Year and D3 Football.com’s 2004 pre-season All-American, has a 3.54 GPA while pursuing his major in mathematics.

CoSIDA is a national organization of college sports information directors that has honored Academic All-Americans for 52 years.
