Bearcat Women Move to 4-0 with Win Over Southern Oregon

ASHLAND, OR — The Willamette University women’s tennis team won four close matches as they defeated Southern Oregon University for the second time this season as they took a 7-2 decision Saturday afternoon.
The Bearcat women are 4-0 on the season.

Alision Nunamaker got the first tight win, defeating Nicole Nakama 6-4, 7-6 (6). Melody Kerber won the final two sets of her match, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4 over Rachel Malaprit. Tammy Mlady beatr Rae Rice 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 and Mimi Dahn defeated Jessica Hutson 6-3, 7-6 (4) and 6-3,

The Bearcats also won two of the three doubles matches.
