Capitol Cup All-Tournament Team Named

SALEM, OR- Jenni Bittle of Northwest Christian College was named All- Tournament MVP for this weekend’s Capitol Cup softball tournament.

Bittle, a pitcher from Central Point, OR, started all four games for the Beacons, challenging teams both offensively and defensively. Bittle hit .364 for the weekend with 4 hits and 2 doubles. On the mound, Bittle recorded 15 strikeouts and allowed opposing batters to hit only .075 against her.

Bittle recorded two wins for Northwest Christian, threw a total of 13 innings, faced 40 hitters and allowed only three hits.
