Bearcat Men Defeat Pacific, 6-1, in NWC Tennis Match
SALEM, OR — The Willamette University men’s tennis team lost only at No. 1 singles as they took an easy 6-1 win over Pacific University in a Northwest Conference tennis match Friday night at the Courthouse Athletic Club.
Andy Frey, Jeff Garrison, Garret Nakamtsu and Sean Mihalik all won singles matches. Eric McMillan won by forfeit at No. 6 singles.
Mihalik and Garrison won at No. 1 doubles. McMillan and Reid Snowden were victorious at No. 2 doubles. Pacific forfeited the No. 3 doubles match.
No. 1 singles: Ben Judson (P) d. Matt McManus (W), 7-6,
No. 2 singles: Andy Frey (W) d. Ashton Kawabe (P), 6-2, 6-3
No. 3 singles: Jeff Garrison d. Bobby Niimi (P), 6-1, 6-0
