Bearcat Women Fall to Linfield 8-1

SALEM, OR — Linfield raised its Northwest Conference to a perfect 6-0 as the Wildcats defeated the Willamette University women’s tennis team 8-1 in a NWC match Saturday afternoon in Salem.

The doubles team of Melody Kerber and Alison Nunamaker recorded the only win for the Bearcats with a 9-7 win
over Kelli Sides and Michelle Arakaki.

The Bearcats are now 5-3 overall, 2-3 NWC. Linfield improves to 8-4 overall and remains undefeated at 6-0 in conference play.
